The Singapore Consulate-General in Mumbai processes social/business visa applications for Indian Nationals and Foreigners (with residence proof) from the six states which comes within the Consulate-General s jurisdiction. The six states are Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha.
Visitors holding ordinary Indian passports are required to apply for a Singapore entry visa prior to their visit to Singapore. Visitors holding official and diplomatic Indian passports are exempted from this entry requirement.
The Singapore Consulate-General no longer accepts walk-in applications and all applications would have to be submitted via a new Electronic Visa (E-Visa) application system. Only our Authorised Visa Agents are allowed to do the online submission on behalf of the applicant.
Visa Application Form
All visa applicants are required to complete the visa application Form 14A. The visa application forms are free of charge and are available at any of the Consulate-General s Authorised Visa Agents. The Form 14A must duly completed and signed before the visa application can be processed.
Submission of Documents
You can submit your visa application through any of the Consulate-General s Authorised Visa Agents. Please contact them directly for their operating hours. Visa applications will only be accepted when all of the following documents are in order:
Valid passport with at least six months validity on the date of entry into Singapore;
Duly completed and signed Form 14A;
Two recent coloured passport size photographs adhered to the form (35 mm wide by 45 mm high without border and taken within the last 3 months; taken full face without headgear, unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with his/her religious or racial custom but the headgear must not hide the applicant s features. The facial image must be between 25 mm and 35 mm from chin to crown; taken against a plain white background with matt or semi-matt finish.) Please note that you should look directly at the camera with head straight, with no hair across and/or covering your eyes/eyebrows/ears.
Kindly ensure that your form is properly completed. Any incomplete submissions or false declarations will result in the application being rejected;
Any other relevant supporting documents deemed to merit the consideration of the application should be provided (e.g. Letter of Introduction/V39A, In-Principal Approval Letter, Letter of Guarantee from Shipping Agent, Company Invitation Letter, Employment Letter, Hotel bookings, land itineraries, Residential Proof etc);
All documents in Hindi, including official notes, should be translated into English;
Confirmed flight tickets. Airline staff travelling on open-dated air tickets are required to produce a no objection letter from the airline concerned together with his/her staff identity card at the time of submission.
A processing fee of S$30.00 is levied for each visa application submitted. The fee is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application and should be made upfront at the time of submission of the application.
In addition to the visa fee of S$30.00, a fixed service charge of INR300.00 for each visa application will be imposed by the Authorised Visa Agents.
Level I applicants - One working day after submitting the application to an Authorised Visa Agent. This excludes the day of submission, weekends and public holidays. However, some applications may take a longer time to process.
Level II applicants - 5 to 7 working days after submitting the application to an Authorised Visa Agent. This excludes the day of submission, weekends and public holidays.
